I studied Hotel Management and I specialised in Food & Beverage and Conventions. Later, in the year 2000, I did a Post Graduate Program in Tourism Development in Niagara Falls, Canada.

After that, I got my Bachelor in Education and currently I am getting my M.A. in TEFL. I got a grant to the United Kingdom in 2006 through the Ministry of Education and the British Department of Education where I participated in a variety of workshops for English Teachers and an internship in Saint Saviour’s School in London. I was invited by the State Department of the United States to participate as an IVLP to the TESOL Multiregional Program at the begining of 2008.

I also got a scholarship to South Korea in 2008 through the Ministry of Education and APEC to participate in the APEC e-Learning Training Program.

I worked in Hospitality Industry for a while but then I moved into higher education because working in hospitality and tourism was not compatible with a family life. I love working in education and I don’t regret about this decision.

I have worked for different universities as Professor, Coordinator and Head of Department. I have worked for the Public School System where I implemented several EFL projects from kinder to 12 grade, such as Thematic Classrooms, Interactive Whiteboards, Winter Camps, English Resources Center, among others. I have worked for a Bi-National Center in Santiago am currently working for E-Blending as a Project Officer (www.e-blending.cl) designing and implementing training programs and consultancy in EFL.

My personal interests are all kind of music and dancing, reading, movies and computing.

I have 3 children Matías, Sebastián and Victoria who are my moto.
